After graduating from The Ohio Institute
of Photography, Steve Cassidy moved to Chicago where he began
his career as an assistant to several photographers. During
this time, Steve learned a wide range of lighting techniques
while developing the knowledge necessary to photograph a wide
range of products. In 1992 Steve accepted a position in Indianapolis
as a staff photographer in a commercial studio. In 1995 he broke
away to start Cassidy Photography.
Steve is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers,
and The Professional Photographers of America. He has won the
Fuji Masterpiece Award, The Kodak Gallery Award, and has images
in the Traveling Loan Collection for The Professional Photographers
of America.
